As an architect, he is passionate about combining his work with the ethos of collaborative leadership. Timothy strives to create an atmosphere where everyone has something to offer during every project. He also values the diverse perspectives that people have to offer and thinks that the design made through collaboration is greater than the sum of individual ideas.
BDG was founded on the cornerstone that every project deserves thoughtful, equitable and elegant designs that integrate careful considerations for the craft of construction.
Collaborations between the architect, client, designers, and craftspeople are essential to the success of each project. When art and science combine this creates structures and spaces that are inspiring, enduring and uplifting!
Armed with all the essential data, Balding Design Group will orchestrate conceptual design strategies specifically tailored to provide solutions for your unique project. Concepts are reviewed, revised, and messaged to meet the clients’ expectations before moving on to the technical aspects of producing construction documents that allow the builder or general contractor to apply for local permits.
It all begins with a conversation. We want to get to know you, your project, and your circumstances. The first step to building a successful relationship with the client is to understand the challenges that require solutions. Then we discuss the details such as style, inspiration, programming, budget, phasing, existing conditions, etc.
Balding Design Group is dedicated to helping design and build schools, medical clinics, and projects of hope in central Africa.
